The Motion Picture Association of Haiti, Inc. seek to advocate for the welfare of the Haitian Filmmakers, provide opportunities for low-income youth to further develop their creative skills and talents in arts, thereby educating them about the arts of filmmaking, and assist Haitian American filmmakers to market their finish products on the International Community.

One of our most important goals is to produce short films documentary to educate the community on those specifics issues:

Motion Picture Association of Haiti, Inc (MPAH) is pleased to announce that it will
be having its second annual movie award on October 7, 2012 at the prestigious John Hancock Hall in Downtown
Boston.

The purpose of the ceremony is to honor the hard work of historically important artists that have been an essential cornerstone in shaping the Haitian movie industry. We will also reward the current efforts of the vibrant talents in the Haitian movie industry today.

Mirebalais, Haiti Youth Filmmaking Learning Center - Empower the Youth in Haiti

The post-Haitian earthquake period is a challenging time for the youth and young adults in every Haitian community. The Mirebalais Youth Filmmaking Learning Center is being developed to address some of the issues being experienced by the poor youth and young adults in the Mirebalais community in Haiti. There is a fertile and active community of videographers and filmmakers in Mirebalais, who have numerous needs that cannot be addressed by existing organizations in the community.
